3 Days Trip from Marrakech To Merzouga

Day 1: Marrakech – Tizi-n-Tichka – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Valley / Dades gorges

Our 3 Days Trip from Marrakech To Merzouga starts in the morning and we will  Pick up at 8 o’clock in the morning from where you are staying / from the airport or bus station to start our unforgettable trip. We will travel from Marrakech to the ‘Gorges du Dades’ through the port of ‘Tizi-n-Tichka’, with views of the High Atlas Mountains, the traditional Berber villages and continue through the ‘Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou’ to visit the impressive UNESCO World Heritage of Ait Ben Haddou, where we will stop for lunch and continue in ‘Ouarzazate’ where we will have the opportunity to visit the ‘Kasbah Taourirt’ and the ‘Atlas Studios’ to continue visiting the ‘Dades Valley’ ‘And where we will spend the night ..

Day 2: Gorges of Dades – Tenghir – Gorges of Todra – Tinjdad – Erfoud – Merzouga (Night in the desert)

After breakfast we will continue our trip to the ‘Erg Chebbi Desert’, specifically to a town called ‘Merzouga’. On the way we will visit some Berber villages such as the ‘Gorges of Todra’, ‘Tenhir’, ‘Tinjdad’, ‘Jorf’ and ‘Erfoud’, where we will begin to feel the beginning of the Saharan oasis. We will continue through ‘Tafilalet’ until we reach our destination: ‘Merzouga’, we will know the hotel / riad where we will stay, we will rest for as long as you need and we will load with a small luggage to spend a night in the desert. We will start a camel ride, crossing the dunes of ‘Erg Chebbi’, where we can take wonderful pictures of the sunset. We will arrive at the camp, which consists of different Berber jaimas, we will leave the luggage and we will be able to walk along the sand until we reach the Gran Duna. We will stop there to see the sunset, we will go down to the jaima to dine Moroccan delicacies and there we will spend an unforgettable evening, enlivened with drums music in the middle of the Sahara before going to sleep.

Day 3: Camel Trekking back to Merzouga – Atlas – Back to Marrakech

We will wake up early to be able to see the sunrise from the camel ride back to ‘Merzouga’, where we will have breakfast and take a time of rest and showers.

After this we will start our trip back to ‘Marrakech’, knowing new towns like ‘Alnif’, ‘Tazarine’ and ‘N’kob’, we will stop at ‘Ouarzazate’ to have lunch and we will continue the trip back, to get to ‘Marrakech’ in the evening / night.
