Our 3 Days from Marrakech to Fes starts at 08:00 from ‘Marrakech’ to ‘Dades Valley’ through the mountains of the ‘High Atlas’ we crossed through ‘Tizi n’Tichka’ in the high Atlas mountains, where we will have time to stop and enjoy of impressive landscapes and Berber villages. We will give you the opportunity to visit the universal ‘Heritage of Ait Ben Haddou’, which was named by UNESCO in 1987. This Berber Kasbah, which has been used as a very important destination for international filmmakers for more than 20 films, was also one of the strongholds of the most important fortress of the ancient ‘Ruta de la Saldonde’, where the caravans brought slaves, gold, ivory, salt and silk from sub-Saharan countries to Marrakech and other nearby counties. We will pass through ‘Ouarzazate’, or what is known as ‘The Hollywood of Africa’, since it has also been a very famous destination for the filmmakers, and we will follow the ‘Dades Valley’, touring ‘Megoun’, ‘Skoura’ ‘(Berber villages around the valley) and we will spend the night in the’ Dades Valley ‘.
After breakfast, we will depart from the ‘Gorges of Dades’ to the desert of ‘Sahara Erg Chebbi’ in ‘Merzouga’. A series of Berber villages are scattered along the way, passing through ‘Tinjdad’, ‘Jorf’ and ‘Erfoud’ where we will begin to feel the essence of the Saharan oasis of ‘Tafilalet’, to then meet ‘Merzouga’, where we can relax for a while. Then we will start our camel ride, along the sand dunes, to spend the night in a camp of nomadic tents, entertained with drum music in the middle of the ‘Sahara’, being a great opportunity to take beautiful photos of the sunset and sunrise, giving you the opportunity to walk up a large dune to watch the sunset.
After an early sunrise, we will go back on the camels to ‘Merzouga’, where we can enjoy a relaxing shower and a comforting breakfast, to begin our3 Days from Marrakech to Fes back to ‘Fez’.
We will make a stop along the way to enjoy a tea with a nomadic family before passing through the mountains of the ‘High Atlas’ again. There we will stop in a village called ‘Midelt’ where we will enjoy lunch. This is an impressive mountain city at 1,488 meters above sea level, located below the ‘Jbel Ayachi’ (3,737 m).
In the afternoon we will continue the trip until we reach the legendary city of ‘Fez’, where we will conclude our unforgettable tour.
