We organize for you an unforgettable excursion in an oasis in the heart of the desert: the best camp in Morocco. For the trip, you will be accompanied by one of our camel drivers, on camels to experience the life of the Moroccan nomads.
You can enjoy the sunset and the sunrise in the middle of the dunes of Erg Chebbi, one of the largest in Morocco. The night goes to the bivouac, under the khaïma, typical Berber tent. In Morocco, a traditional bivouac requires the tasting of the famous Moroccan tajine. You will even have access to the ‘Berber television’, but unfortunately there is only one channel, the starry sky … During your trip to the bivouac, your room will be kept for you, so that your luggage is safe. The hotel night will have no additional charge.
The itinerary: After about two hours on a camel, we arrive at an oasis where we can climb the dune to observe the sunset in the Erg Chebbi, which culminates in this whole region of Morocco.
Our guide will prepare a delicious tajine that you will enjoy under the big starry canopy that is not subject to light pollution here … The evening will be accompanied by Berber songs and Moroccan percussions. Then you will spend a night in the quiet and peaceful Sahara under the khaïma, the Moroccan Berber tent. This traditional nomad tent is a very insulating set of camel wool strips, sewn and supported by a wooden structure.
You will sleep on a thick layer of Moroccan rugs and mattresses for perfect comfort. In the morning … sleep late, but it is better to get up early and climb the dunes to admire the splendid sunrise that appears over Algeria.
